ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for an intern to join our Industrial Engineering and Maintenance department, where they will support the team on projects related to pharmaceutical facilities, industrial maintenance, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Head of Engineering and Maintenance, participating in key projects aimed at developing and optimizing our production facilities.
Mission
Support the Engineering and Maintenance department in the planning, monitoring, and execution of activities related to industrial facilities, critical systems, and improvement projects, gaining practical experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment and helping to ensure compliance with GMP standards and other applicable regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate on projects to improve, modify, or expand industrial facilities and systems.
- Participate in the monitoring of construction projects and installations in collaboration with suppliers, external companies, and contractors.
- Provide support for the monitoring of critical systems such as HVAC, purified water, compressed air, clean steam, and other industrial utilities.
- Assist in reviewing drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Assist in the development and updating of procedures, technical documentation, and records related to projects.
- Participate in activities related to the qualification, validation, and commissioning of equipment and facilities.
- Help monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Help ensure compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and environmental standards applicable to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Work across departments, such as Production, Quality, Validation, and Maintenance.
Requirements
- A senior or recent graduate in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Possibility of entering into an internship agreement with a university or training center.
- Interest in the pharmaceutical industry, industrial facilities, and project management.
- Academic knowledge of industrial facilities, HVAC systems, automation, cleanrooms, or industrial services is a plus.
- English proficiency level C1.
- Knowledge of German is a plus.
