ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a Clinical and Scientific Research Specialist to join our post-sales commercial team. You will report to the National Head of Marketing and Sales within the Commercial Department.

Mission. Drive the generation of clinical and scientific evidence in the field of allergen immunotherapy (AIT) and molecular diagnostics through the design, development, analysis, and dissemination of observational, post-marketing, and mechanistic studies, thereby contributing to ROXALL’s scientific positioning, the development of relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and strategic support for the sales network.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop protocols for observational, post-marketing, and mechanistic clinical studies in the field of respiratory allergy.
  • Identify opportunities to generate evidence that align with the strategic needs of the company and the sales team.
  • Establish and maintain strong scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), promoting collaboration on research projects.
  • Coordinate the launch of studies, including site selection, timeline definition, and milestone tracking.
  • Monitor and track studies (CRO/CRA style), ensuring data quality, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with scientific objectives.
  • Analyze clinical and immunological results (including data on IgE, IgG4, BAT, cytokines, etc.) in collaboration with internal or external resources.
  • Participate in the scientific interpretation of results and in drawing conclusions with clinical implications.
  • Draft abstracts, posters, scientific papers, and manuscripts for presentation at conferences and/or publication in scientific journals.
  • Lead or co-lead the presentation of results at national conferences.
  • Translate the generated evidence into valuable messages and materials for the sales network, contributing to their training and scientific rationale.
  • Work with the sales team to identify unmet clinical needs and research opportunities.
  • Monitor and understand relevant laboratory techniques (ELISA, multiplex, MADx, among others), ensuring they are applied correctly in studies.
  • Work closely with the in-house laboratory to ensure that analytical tests are conducted properly.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards applicable to non-interventional studies. Contribute to the company’s scientific standing through an active presence in academic and clinical settings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, or a related field; a PhD in areas related to allergology, immunology, or respiratory medicine is highly desirable.
  • Experience in clinical research, medical affairs, or CRO-related roles.
  • Design and conduct of observational or real-world studies.
  • Analysis and interpretation of clinical and immunological data. Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (particularly SPSS)
  • Basic computer skills, advanced English (C1) and fluent German (B2) preferred, and corporate competencies (self-)assessed as above average (preferred: 80th percentile).
