ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for R&D Laboratory Analysts to join our team in Zamudio (Bizkaia) on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Department Head and providing support to the technical team, the successful candidate will participate in various analytical and laboratory activities related to R&D, including routine analyses, sample characterization, management of stability testing equipment, and preparation of the associated documentation.
MISSION
Carry out assigned tasks in accordance with the objectives established by the Area Manager, providing support to the technical team and contributing to the proper conduct of analytical and experimental activities in the R&D department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analytical Work: Perform routine analyses and physicochemical, chemical, and microbiological characterization activities in accordance with established procedures and methodologies.
- Raw Materials and Materials: Participate in the analysis and characterization of raw materials and packaging materials related to the department’s activities.
- Stability equipment: Participate in the management, monitoring, calibration, and qualification of stability equipment, ensuring that it is in proper condition and operates in accordance with established procedures.
- Documentation: Prepare, record, and manage the documentation related to the activities carried out, ensuring proper traceability of the information and results.
- Work Organization: Organize and manage assigned tasks as part of the laboratory’s routine operations, ensuring their proper execution and follow-up.
- Best Practices: Conduct activities in accordance with internal procedures and applicable best practices, as well as safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Teamwork: Provide support to the technical team and collaborate with other members of the department to help achieve R&D objectives.
- Perform any other activities that may be required by their hierarchical and/or functional superiors within the scope of duties corresponding to their professional group.
REQUIREMENTS
Training and Technical Knowledge
- Vocational training (non-university level) in Laboratory, Analysis, and Quality Control; Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory; or similar technical training related to the position.
- Supplementary training related to the activities and techniques specific to the laboratory setting.
- At least 2 years of experience in activities related to laboratory settings, analysis, quality control, or related technical fields.
- At least 1 year of experience in specific laboratory operations.
- Experience or knowledge of physicochemical, chemical, and/or microbiological analysis and characterization techniques.
- Experience related to stability studies or equipment, calibrations, and/or equipment qualifications will be particularly valued.
- Ability to work meticulously in accordance with established procedures and to properly document the activities performed.
- Computer Science at the User Level.
- B2-level English, with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in a professional setting.
